报告人简介:
Prof. Mark van Kleunen leads the Ecology group at the University of Konstanz, Germany. He is one of the founding members of the Global Naturalized Alien Flora (GloNAF) database, and one of the leading scientists in global change and biological invasion researches. His work explores the ecological impacts of global environmental change, with a particular focus on the causes and consequences of plant invasions. Integrating approaches from evolutionary ecology, community ecology, and macroecology, his work provides critical insights into the dynamics of invasive species and their broader ecological implications. Prof. Mark van Kleunen has published papers in Nature, PNAS, Nature Ecology and Evolution, Nature Plants, Trends in Ecology & Evolution, etc. His papers have been cited over 333.800 times, and he has a h-index of 84 (Google scholar).
报告内容简介:
Human actions have drastically changed different components of the environment. such as the climate and nutrient cycle, and have polluted the environment. Most ecological studies only consider one or two global change factors, but in nature many organisms are exposed to multiple global change factors simultaneously. In my report, I will present the results of some of the recent studies by my group that have tested the effects of the number of concurrent global change factors on plants.
