雨季的到来挡不住同学们高涨的学术热情，2018年5月26日上午，第十一期光华研究生学术论坛准时在资环楼148举行。
论坛日程
在主持人刘宇老师简短有力的开场后，杨菁同学带来了第一个口头报告，题目为“如何准确估计种内性状差异？”。报告中提到了传统统计量CV1会低估种内变异，矫正统计量CV5，CV6能起到很好的矫正作用，建议用CV5计量，最小取样量为80。同学们则从统计时选用的物种种类方面提出了问题。
第二位做口头报告的是来自周旭辉老师课题组的周贵尧同学，他所做报告的主题是“Effect of drought on soil respiration regulated by climate，root biomass and soil microbes in a subtropical forest”。其中详细阐述了干旱对土壤中的环境和生物的影响。周小奇老师提出问题并给出了新的看法。
第三个口头报告来自张健老师课题组的王宇卓同学，报告题为“Experimental test assisted migration for range-restricted plant conservation in Alberta, Canada”。讨论了物种的辅助迁移问题，沈国春老师和邓泓老师都进行了提问。
最后一位做口头报告的是Amael Le Sequin，他是一位外国留学生，报告主题为“Upscaling tree species processes: from local demography to continental distribution”。
在短暂的茶歇过后，又有四位同学带来了精彩的进展快报。他们分别是：
周静（周小奇老师课题组）：Do plant species with different growth strategies vary in their ability to compete with soil microbes for chemical forms of nitrogen?
朱晓彤（阎恩荣老师课题组）：Variation in leaf and twig CO2 flux as a function of plant size: a comparison of seedlings, saplings and trees.
蒋煜（邓泓老师课题组）：A vegetation control on seasonal variations in global atmospheric mercury concentrations.
苏雪玲（邓杰老师课题组）：Molecular analysis of the major capsid genes(g23) of T4-type bacteriophages in an upland black soil in Northeast China.
最后，刘宇老师又对整场论坛进行了精彩的总结，第十一期光华研究生学术论坛在热烈的掌声中圆满结束。
光华论坛自开展以来，已经成功举办十一期，成为同学们展现自我，交流学术的最佳平台，每一期光华论坛都得到了老师和同学们的支持和赞扬！
