报告人简介：
Mark J. McDonnell，澳大利亚墨尔本大学生物科学学院教授，牛津大学出版社发行的《Journal of Urban Ecology》杂志主编，华东师范大学海外高层次特聘专家。长期从事城市生态学与生态系统方面的研究，尤其在景观生态学和城市生态系统的结构和功能，城市生物多样性保护和管理方面取得了卓越成果。编撰英文书籍23部，在Science，Annual Review of Ecology, Evolution and Systematics等国际顶级期刊上发表文章100余篇，Google Scholar论文总引用率达到7982次，h因子高达48。近十年他还担任Nature, Science, Ecology等顶级期刊的长期审稿人，以及7个国际期刊的编委。鉴于在科研上的杰出贡献，McDonnell教授还曾获得澳大利亚景观建筑师学会维多利亚奖章（AILA Victoria Medal for Landscape Architecture），当选美国植物园团体成员，获得纽约公园和娱乐部认证证书等。
报告摘要：
Writing and publishing research papers in high quality journals is essential for students and early career researchers to succeed in their future academic and business careers. This lecture is designed to provide participants with essential information on how to transform their work into a publishable manuscript. In addition, the lecture will provide participants with the knowledge and tools to successfully navigate the publication process in order to efficiently and effectively achieve their desired publication outcomes.
